Why We Started

After working as an accountant for many years, our founder, Roy Gibson, noticed a massive flaw in the industry. Traditional accountants were only meeting with their clients once a year to check the compliance boxes.

They didn't have an advisor who was there to truly partner with them in their business. This disconnect leads to missed opportunities for growth and a lack of strategic direction.

Joint Venture Accounting was founded in June 2024 to change exactly that. We care about you and your business, we want your business to succeed, and we want to help you make that happen.

With over a decade of experience, Roy built Joint Venture Accounting to break away from traditional accounting norms. He is passionate about providing personalized financial guidance and tailored solutions to help businesses move beyond mere compliance to embrace strategic planning.
